01Information we collect
Account information from Google sign in: your name, email address, profile image and Google account identifier. We do not receive or store your Google password.
Project information you create in the studio: patterns, notes in the piano roll, playlist arrangements, mixer settings, automation clips, plugin presets, samples you import and mixdowns you export.
Usage information: pages opened, projects created, samples auditioned, session length, browser and device type, and error diagnostics that help us keep the studio stable.
Billing information: plan, subscription status, invoice and payment identifiers. Card details are entered directly with the payment provider and never reach our servers.
02How we use information
To create and secure your account, open your projects and keep them available across your devices.
To run the studio, stream FL Cloud samples, power the sounds browser and process mixdowns and exports.
To process payments, prevent fraud and answer billing questions.
To fix defects, measure performance and improve the channel rack, piano roll, playlist, mixer and effects.
03Your music and samples
You keep ownership of every beat, melody, arrangement, vocal take and project you create in the studio. You grant us the limited rights needed to store, process and render that content so the studio can do its job.
Imported samples and FL Cloud sounds are licensed for use in your music, not resold or redistributed as standalone audio.
Projects are stored so they open again later. Deleting a project removes it from active storage, subject to the short backup window described below.
04Sharing
We share data with the processors that run the service: cloud hosting and storage, the payment provider that processes your subscription, and email or support tools.
We do not sell personal information and we do not share your projects with advertisers.
We may disclose information when the law requires it, when it is necessary to protect the service or our users, or as part of a merger or acquisition with notice to you.
05Retention
Account and project data is kept while your account is open. When you close your account we delete projects, samples and exports within 30 days, except records we must keep for tax, accounting or fraud prevention.
Server logs and diagnostics are kept for a shorter period and are deleted or aggregated after that window.
06Your choices
You can export or delete your projects and download your mixes at any time from the studio.
You can request a copy of your account data, correct it, or ask us to delete it by writing to support@flstudio.lol.
You can cancel a subscription at any time from billing settings. Cancelling stops future renewals and keeps the plan active until the end of the paid period.
07Security and children
Traffic is encrypted in transit, access to production systems is restricted and secrets are stored in a managed secret store.
The studio is not directed at children under 13 and accounts are not knowingly created for them.
08Changes and contact
We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date above. Material changes will be announced in the studio or by email.
